Mini Hammered Dulcimer Complete Hardware

My son and I used the free mini-dulcimer plans and modified the design based on the full-size dulcimer plans from Smithsonian for a custom build. This kit is perfect to finish it up and includes all of the needed hardware for the mini. The parts all seem to be good quality and accurately sized to the plans. I highly recommend this well-priced kit if you are building a miniature dulcimer.

Worked well. I've built two for my grandkids. I found that having no back made it difficult to stay in tune, so I did add an 1/8" baltic birch back and it made it very stable. I had so much fun with it I made a full size one for myself from the plans from music maker.

This hardware set is great for a first time builder when you don't know what you need to get started. Takes the guess work out of it. Thanks for the kit cant wait to get it built.

Just what I needed - good quality.

I'm very pleased with the hardware.The web site doesn't say what's included but when they say complete they mean complete. I thought I might have to come up with the delrin rods and brass rods on my own. (no one in my area seems to know what a delrin rod is). But, they were all in the kit. It even has a tuning key.Thanks MM.

The kit has everything you need to make your dulcimer play! It’s great!
