Complete string set for Hognose Psaltery
NOTE - June 2020We have lowered the tuning to decrease the tension on this instrument. This makes it easier to play and makes it less likely that a string will break.
Any Hognose Psaltery bought before June 2020 would have been tuned to the Key of C. This string set is for the Key of G. If you want to keep your instrument in the key of C and need replacement strings, you can order those individually. Just consult the string chart that came with your instrument. However, we recommend that you change your tuning to the Key of G with this string set.
