Directions for assembly were easy to follow. I did a small change for my own preference, I cut a shallow groove for the frets and then used some round bamboo toothpicks that I have. I did not have to do any adjustments to the bridge or nut. I also covered the cardboard with wood grain vinyl type stick on paper to give the 'natural' look. It seems to sound nice. I will use it as a wall decor. The main reason I got this was to get some ideas on assy as I am planning to build a 4 or 6 string "Dojo". This is my idea of a Dobro and Banjo cross using a stainless steel pie pan as an resonator, and body shaped much like a banjo from oak cut from old shipping pallets. I play a little bit of guitar so that is the tuning I will likely use.
